Meat and fish plants demand high hygiene and frequent cleaning. Stainless steel resists corrosion and is easy to clean. For contact with salt and acids we use V4A (1.4404 / AISI 316L) with molybdenum, resistant to chlorine, acids and salt.

Which drains suit a meat or fish production hall?
Most often slot channels with 8-20 mm slots and floor drains. Drains are selected in load classes B125-F900 depending on cart and machine traffic. Choice depends on hall layout and washdown intensity.
Which floor works best with drains in meat or fish plants?
In wet and chemically aggressive environments resin floors — epoxy and polyurethane-cement Ucrete resistant up to 120°C — perform well. They are seamless, hygienic and we integrate them with stainless steel drainage.
Will the floor and drains withstand hot water and steam cleaning?
Yes. Meat and fish plants use Ucrete resin floors resistant up to 120°C and stainless steel drains. V4A grade (AISI 316L) with molybdenum further increases resistance to salt and acids present in processing.

Yes. We deliver stainless steel drains and products to clients in the EU, UK, Turkey, Middle East and Africa. On request we supply 3.1 mill certificates per EN 10204 confirming the steel grade.
